Can you believe we are into a new year?
If you are anything like us you may still be recovering from the end-of-year and Christmas whirlwind! For those of you in childcare this may well have been a flurry of arranging enrolments for the new year, preschoolers moving on to big school, graduations, Christmas parties, end of year reporting and portfolios, professional photos, gifts for the families and… the list goes on!
In amongst all of this it can be very difficult to turn your mind to planning ahead for the new year… and look out, here we are, in 2016 already!
This is why all of you deserve for some things in early childhood childcare to be made a little easier. And we all know that being organised is key to making it work, and even better, to show the world just how good you are at what you do.
Knowing the value of enhancing children’s awareness of their natural environment, whilst attempting to tick off a few boxes in the necessary realm of accreditation can be such a tricky balance in childcare.
- Wouldn’t it be great if you could have childcare professionals and environmental experts visit your centre every week with water bugs, gardening, composting and even mini beasts like giant snails, earthworms and millipedes?
- How easy would it be if these teachers could guide your centre every week with fun, hands-on workshops for all the children class by class?
- Wouldn’t you love it if your centre’s educators could be guided and trained in all areas of how to make your centre more earth friendly and therefore sustainable?
‘Yes’, ‘yes’ and ‘yes’ we hear you say!
Well the Natura Education early learning team honestly feel so lucky to be offering and delivering services such as these to centres all around the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and even Brisbane. Every week we are teaching children aged from 2 to 12 years all about nature’s wonders and what we can all do to protect them. We also get to be part of helping centres transform from “We don’t know what else to do to implement sustainability!” to “Yes, we’ve got this! Sustainable practices are now an everyday part of our centre’s program and we love it.”
So would you like to join in? Great! Our bookings are now open for 2016.
For those who already have Natura Education visiting their centre we thank you and are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2016! And for those of you we are yet to meet – we would like to offer you the opportunity to grab a place while you can as limited days are available. Waiting lists are also on offer for any centre wishing to participate in our “Friends of the Earth Package” or “Sustainability Bundle” in the case your preferred day is not available.
