Primary School

Natura Education develops and delivers interactive and hands-on environmental education lessons to all year levels of primary school students. Directly aligned with the Australian Curriculum, our lessons are designed to engage the students and allow for fun and learning to go hand in hand.

So are you ready to find out how to incorporate environmental education into your teaching program in a way that satisfies cross-curricular requirements?

Together with the students our experienced and enthusiastic educators explore a wide range of topics centred around the wonders of our natural environment and all programs provide the specific equipment and resources required. We ensure that all of our resources and activities engage students and make their learning experience both fun and memorable. Lesson topics including Senses in the Environment, Compostosaurs, Ready Set Grow, Balance in Biodiversity, Weathering and Erosion, Wetlands and Waterways, Strategies for Sustainability and Mini Beasts are each tailored to meet the needs of varying year levels and desired learning outcomes.

Natura Education’s programs cover a wide variety of topics that link into many aspects of the Australian Curriculum, addressing the cross-curricular needs of teachers and their students. Our programs are designed to be flexible in their delivery in order to meet the individual needs of teachers and schools, with the central theme of each lesson able to be aligned with the current theme or learning topic of the class.

Our nature-based activities can be delivered as individual lessons, half day or full day programs. Programs can take place in class, on school grounds, at a local park or waterway or at a specific excursion location. We can even join your school camp to run an activity on a specific day, and programs are run during school days at times that are convenient for the teacher and class.
