Natura Pacific participated in the Exponor conference held in Antofagasta, Chile, on May 2015. Exponor is an international mining industry exposition and a conference held every two years that is 
focused on the presentation and exchange of information and expertise from companies in the industry. Companies ranged from material suppliers to waste management experts. Exponor brought together more than 1,120 companies from 30 countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Netherlands, USA and Chile.
Natura Pacific, one of the Australian representatives, was the only company presenting Environmental Education programs, Environmental Monitoring and Restoration tools to the mining industry at Exponor. We had a booth in one of the main Pavilions and also presented with our projects partners Bushcare Services a symposium on regeneration, revegetation and erosion control. Natura Pacific also presented a symposium on behalf of our partner enterprise EnviroSuit, an Australian company that has monitoring, analysis and forecasting software aimed to report on environmental impacts for a variety of industries from agricultural to mining projects.
Natura Pacific aimed to extend its collaboration network, bringing to the mining industry environmental solutions and tools that are already working in other industries. Due to our sole representation of environmental management tools (e.g. education and restoration) at Exponor, several companies were interested in the services provided by Natura Pacific, Bushcare Services and EnviroSuit. Currently, Natura Pacific is corresponding with some of these enterprises to continue with the initial conversations and bring together collaboration with international private and government institutions and enterprises.
Our experience in Exponor was a success, we already have representatives in Peru and Argentina and we are looking forward to continuing to expand our collaboration network both within Australia and internationally.
