Back from the Brink is South East Queensland first pilot series specifically showcasing threatened species at risk of extinction from our region and what work is being done to save them. The 13 episode-series-to-date demonstrates to students and the wider community that extinction is happening right on our doorsteps and that there are tangible actions we can all make to help counter our own impacts on the natural world. From Swamp Orchids to Powerful Owls and Koalas to Stingless Bees, the series has already attracted over 70,000 viewers from around the region and has built a significant audience on social media, in schools and across our community workshops annually. The series will continue to expand and grow with direct links to current projects that the community can become involved in to help protect the various species documented.
