In 2014 a strategic planning consultancy firm, who specialise in the provision of strategic planning and communications services for state tourism organisations and government departments, engaged Natura Pacific to deliver the mapping component of a project they were undertaking. This project involved a desktop audit of WiFi availability along the major drive routes and national parks in Queensland with a view to identify WiFi hotspots and network deficiencies and inform priorities for future investment to service the tourism sector. After entering all required data and the analysis and plotting of this data using GIS, comprehensive maps of WiFi coverage and limitations throughout Queensland were provided to the client to support their study. – GIS – ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING –
