In 2011 Natura Pacific coordinated this environmental education program to increase awareness and understanding of catchment health and the importance of our day-to-day activities in our environment. The program was also designed to inspire students about the significance of their local environment. The program sought students to draw pictures of what their perception of their catchment was and what it meant to them. Apart from prizes, winning students from each school also had their drawing included in a calendar that was designed and published in association with the Gold Coast City Council and distributed to Government Departments and schools in south east Queensland. – COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT – ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION –
