Community Engagement and Environmental Education – Pulau Banyak, Indonesia

During 2008 to 2009 Natura Pacific developed and implemented a number of projects for Yayasan Pulau Banyak, a non-Government organisation in the Aceh region of Indonesia. These included: a solid waste management strategy and community engagement program; a “Teach the Teachers” environmental training program for Local Government, community groups and schools; and development of a curriculum-based environmental education programs for local school children.    – COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT – ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION – MANAGEMENT & MONITORING –
