VIDEO: Native stingless bees – Rescue and recovery (Part 3)

In this third video of the series, Kieran shows how the native beehive is prepared in the field for translocation away from its current site, which is due to be cleared for development. In this way the bees, and any other fauna located in this area will be carefully relocated to another location prior to any clearing works.

If this video peaked your curiosity then you may be interested in watching Part 1, Part 2, Part 4 and Part 5 of the series too. And if you come across any native bees or a hive than may be in danger of damage or removal then please contact us to see if we can help.
